Green cell phones will definitely appeal to nature lovers. The make and design of a cell phone reflect the status and lifestyle of the user; Sprint and Samsung’s collaborated brainchild, Reclaim, is made from 80% recycled material including bio-plastic materials derived from corn. The phone is PVC and BFR-free. The QWERTY-friendly device features a stereo Bluetooth and a 2-megapixel camera.
The phone also comes in environmentally-friendly packaging. Besides constituting 70% recycled material, the package is printed with soy-based ink. Putting its money where its mouth is, every $2 of the profit earned will be donated to Nature’s Conservancy’s Adopt. The phones come in two colors – Ocean Blue or Earth Green.
